wisconsin snowfields

This is a project inspired by the feeling of aloneness I sense when photographing in the snowy, winter world of Central Wisconsin. The whiteness emphasizes the expanses here and a feeling of wandering but never quite arriving. A tree or forest in the distance remains distant. Freezing fog or drifting snow form further barriers and make the stark scenes even less accessible.
